John Lee's 2003 Honda S2000, is far from unique. The car sits with the same stance as a factory AP1 at your local dealership. But, do not let the looks of this 565 horsepower sleeper fool you.

Here at inlinePRO, we like to do our own research and development to find the limits of certain parts. After many test, we found just the right combination that will allow any S2000 to push 500rwhp on the stock engine. Utilizing the inlinePRO 3mm headgasket, the stock compression is lowered to 9:1. With the oem pistons and rods already forged, they are ready for serious power.

With the headgasket installed, this S2000 was equipped with an off the shelf turbo kit mated with a Precision GT35r ball bearing turbo. With the charge pipes fully polished, the kit looks attractive in the engine bay, but also packs a punch. Larger injectors are require, and to handle the fuel delivery system are inlinePRO 1000cc injectors. The head is also equipped with inlinePRO dual valve springs, and titanium retainers to handle the power.

The 500 plus horsepower that the engine produces is delivered through the drivetrain through a Competition Clutch 4 Puck setup. DriveShaft Shop's stage 5 axles are also in the mix to absorb the power and transfer them to the wheels. The power is put to the ground through drag radial street tires as this S2000 roams the streets of Virginia. Once everything is assembled, the car is then strapped to the dyno read for a Fisher tune.

Through the AEM EMS, the car was able to tune out 525rear wheel horsepower on pump gas at 25psi, and 565 horsepower to the rear wheel with c16 race fuel. With the map loaded up on the EMS, this S2000 drives on the streets with ease and feels comfortable. The suspension and chassis is still stock from the factory. As it sits, the car has propelled itself down the 1/4 mile at 10.7 and clocked in at 135mph making it the fastest street tire S2000 in the world.

This S2000 now has a inlinePRO Rear Differential kit, mated with a Nisson r200 differential to handle the power the engine puts down. We will still continue to improve this car, and set a new record!
